Craving Kimchi

South Korea has been an incredible newlywed adventure. Justin and I are out here studying at Keimyung University and teaching English at local elementary schools. Everyday is a new challenge with a new reward.

South Korea its self is a beautiful country, the architecture is so unique and beautiful. I have never been anywhere in Asia so the architecture, food, culture, language and clothing are all new and fun. The weekend before last we went on a tour of the fish market on the west coast. This picture was taken right before an eel splashed in his tub and scared the heck out of me. Here you can see Octopus and whale

These are the grounds of an ancient palace. It was a bright Beautiful day and spent time walking the grounds picturing what it must have looked like years and years ago!

Right there on the grounds there was a small bamboo forest where we saw two happy little pandas just eating away.

This is a royal burial ground. In South Korea they build dirt mounds over the coffins. The bigger the mound the more prestigious the person was. This one is practically a mountain.

Just across from these mini mountains is a park where lots of people were out flying kites, check out this!

It is amazing what a difference the sunshine makes!

A Look Back At The Big Day

Although our adventure truly began about a year and a half earlier,

our story together legally began on January 21st 2010.

More then anything this was a day to celebrate all the laughter and fun that we have had and that we will have in the future.



What an incredible day to share with family and friends, big smiles, warm hugs and happy tears for all.

What more can I say?
My little acrobat blows me away!



With so many wonderful things the day was over in the blink of an eye.
Lucky for us the fun was not over. The next day we had our reception.

Because Justin and I both have such large fun families we decided to do a carnival theme. My mom and my brother were the incredible masterminds behind our reception. With everything from cotton candy to lemonade to ribbon crowns the carnival was perfect! The beautiful details of the wedding were enchanting.


The carnival theme truly captured the playful spirit of our relationship. We had a blast playing carnival games and enjoying the smiling faces of people we don't get to see enough.
