Daegu is known for natural medicines and in May they had their herb festival!

This is the traditional wedding food. There are specific dishes that must be prepared and served in specific ways.
The closing ceremony was the burning of a wish tree. Everyone fills out a slip of paper with your wish on it, tie it to a tree then you light it on fire and dance around. You bet we got involved! It was a blast!
Oh yea that's my man- always putting food on the table.
